Beginning today, you must complete the assigned problems in Delta Math under A1 – Unit 2A Homework each day.  We will add new problems each morning before school starts.  Your homework each day will be to complete the assigned problems. Moving forward, all problems in Delta Math under A1 – Unit 2A Homework should be completed each day.

Unit 1 TEST 

1. Go to www.DeltaMath.com and choose Unit 1 TEST – Massey, and begin. The test is open only for the class block time, you will only have 45 minutes to complete it once you start.

2. You must copy ALL problems on your own paper and show work that leads to your answer.  Then upload work to the lesson assignments labeled “Unit 1 TEST Work”. Work must be uploaded by 3 pm.

3. Homework in DeltaMath – 12 problems total  

a) 3 – One Step Equations (Add/Subtract)

b) 3 – One Step Equations (Multiplication – L2)

c) 3 – One Step Equations (Division)

d) 3 – One Step Equations (Fractions)

Look for “A1 – Unit 2A Homework” assignment in DeltaMath. Copy problems and show work.  I will create an assignment in CTLS for you to upload.

Reminders

1. The Unit 1 TEST will be given LIVE tomorrow, Friday 8.28 during regular class time.  It is on http://www.DeltaMath.com. 

2. You MUST have a working camera and microphone to take the test. 

3. You CANNOT use your phone as a calculator.

4. You CANNOT use your notes during the test.

5. You MUST copy ALL test problems on your own paper and show work to upload to CTLS.

6. You MUST finish the test during the class time, 70 minutes total.  No extra time is allowed.

1. The SKI is a diagnostic test that does NOT count for a grade.  This should only take about 45 minutes. 

“Once the student is logged into CTLS Learn, they will see their classrooms and sessions at the top of the left navigation. Select “Assess” at the bottom of the page.

Students will complete the “Assessment” online.

Once the student selects “Finished,” the test information is sent to the teacher.”

The students will use their ID as the password.  It must be completed by 6 pm.

• Quiz Retake – If you made below an 80% on the QUIZ you will be allowed to retake it with the opportunity to make up to an 80% max. There will be a video in resources going over the answers to the original Quiz. You will need to watch it BEFORE you retake. Quiz Retake is on www.DeltaMath.com. Deadline for retake is 8 pm tomorrow. You still need to show work on your own paper for retake and upload to CTLS assignments.

• Begin working the Unit 1 Review Sheet in preparation for the Unit 1 TEST on Friday. You will NOT be allowed to use your notes on the Unit 1 Test. I will hold a LIVE review session from 10-11 am in my class “Office Hours” for questions.  This is optional.  We will also review in class on Thursday. The review sheet is in resources.

• Please make sure you are uploading homework into CTLS under the session “Unit 1 Homework”.  Do not wait until Thursday and try to do it all at once.  The deadline for homework is Friday 8.28 BEFORE we test. We will test in class on Friday. All Unit 1 notes should be filled in. If you are missing anything, you need to go back to earlier sessions and watch the videos and fill them in.
